Kidcare & Turning Point 2010-2011 Registration Application (pdf)
Kidcare - Kidcare, a before and after school "extended day" program offered in our four elementary schools, is open to students enrolled in EWRSD grades K through 5. Special trips and activities also are offered on full and half days. Space is limited; please call for availability.
All children MUST be pre-registered. A $35 non-refundable family fee must accompany each registration. Children cannot begin the program without registering. Parents are required to keep information current in case of emergencies.
The Kidcare program offers five day, four day and three day a week programs. All fees are monthly, and all plans require you to select in advance exactly which days of the week you will be sending your child. These days will remain the same for the duration of the contract.

PLEASE NOTE : Under all Kidcare options, there is no transportation to and/or from home on the sessions you select. This applies equally whether you are on a 5, 4 or 3 day plan, AM or PM, or both.
Registration is for the school year and tuition is divided into 10 equal installments.
Weekdays/Half Days: 7:00 AM - School Opening
Dismissal to 6:00 PM
All full days will be held at the GN Rogers School from 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM. All children must bring a lunch. If your child is not picked up by 6:00 PM you will be charged $15.00 for each additional 15 minutes.
Trips and special activities will be planned for some of the half and full days. Parents will be kept informed by the staff of these special days. Admission fees are not included in the Kidcare fee and parents are asked to pay for those at the time they occur.
Children may participate in a variety of activities offered at the school site. Both indoor and outdoor learning experiences will be provided. There will be time for active play as well as time to relax, read and do homework. Monthly activity calendars will be provided at each site.
In case of inclement weather, listen to WPST 94.5 FM or watch Comcast Channel 27, check the district's web site at www.EastWindsorRegionalSchools.com or www.nj101.5.com (click on Storm Announcment link) for closings and delayed openings. If East Windsor Schools are closed KIDCARE IS CLOSED . If there is a delayed opening, Kidcare WILL BE DELAYED 90 MINUTES (opening at 8:30 AM). If we have an early closing, in most cases Kidcare will be open in the afternoon-however, parents are encouraged to pick up their child(ren) as soon as safely possible. |

Turning Point - Turning Point provides an extended day for kindergarten children. This academically-structured program reinforces kindergarten skills in addition to providing arts and crafts, games, stories and mini trips. Sponsored by the Office of Community Services, Turning Point is available during the morning session beginning the first day of school and ending on the last day of school. To attend, children must be enrolled in kindergarten in the East Windsor Regional School District.
Tuition is $380 per month. There is no part-time schedule.
A $50 non-refundable family registration fee must accompany each registration.
As part of our curriculum, we will be planning trips from time to time for which an admission fee may be charged. These fees are not included in the Turning Point tuition and parents are asked to pay for them at the time they occur.
If East Windsor Regional Schools are closed, so is Turning Point. |
