Heath & Physical Education Curriculum

A comprehensive health and family life program encourages students to take responsibility for their own lives by establishing positive health practices that will support and enhance lifelong wellness.   Knowledge of health and physical education concepts and skills empowers students to assume lifelong responsibility to develop physical, social, and emotional wellness.

The New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards for Comprehensive Health and Physical Education may be viewed by following the link below .   After reviewing the standards, if any parent/guardian feels that any portion of the Family Life Program is in conflict with his/her conscience, moral and/or religious beliefs may have his/her child excused from that portion of the course without penalty.   If you want your child to be excused from any portion, please complete the exclusionary form and return to the building principal.   If need more specific information regarding any portion of the program, you should contact the building principal for assistance.
