Daily Announcements - Tuesday October 21 - Day C

Last chance for white-out sweatshirts!  Place your order in room 108 with Mrs. Horta or in room 114 with Mrs. Montgomery by Thursday.  Payment of $25 is due when you place your order.

Attention seniors!  If you participated in the Yankee Candle fundraiser, your orders are in!  Please pick them up after school today in the room next to the Smith House.

DECA is now providing the Puddle List via Remind.com! Text @decapuddle to 609-531-7222. DECA reserves the right to remind you of our events. Puddle list service is completely free. 

Attention all last year’s Sculpture students! All of the kiln firings from last year are finally complete. If you have work you need to glaze or pick up, please stop down in room 701 to make arrangements to do so. Any work remaining beyond 11/5 may no longer be available for pick up unless you make arrangements with Mrs. Lisk or Mrs. Nardino!

Jazz Band auditions will be next Tuesday night, October 28th, in the band room. Please see Mr. Ernst in the band room office to pick an audition time.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test will be given next Thursday the 24th at 7:30 in the Library.  The ASVAB is the placement test for every branch of the armed services.  You DO NOT have to join the military to take the ASVAB.  The ASVAB can be utilized as a career exploration platform.  ASVAB test scores WILL NOT be sent to military recruiters. Students who are interested in taking the ASVAB should sign up in the Counseling Office asap.    

The FCCLA will meet in room 405 after school today. Please remember to bring in your permission slips and payment if you are attending the Fall Leadership Conference in Edison this November. New members are welcome.

Any girl who is interested in playing basketball this season should attend a meeting in the small cafeteria on Thursday at 2:15.

The weight room will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.

10th and 11th grade student id’s are in!  You can pick yours up from your house office only during your study hall or lunch.

The library will be closed Friday morning from 7:30 through 2nd lunch.  

The African American Awareness Club is having a bake sale this Thursday in The Commons.  All club members should stop by Mr. Edwards’ room (214) for verify what you will be bringing to the sale.

There will be an FMLA meeting Thursday after school in room 132.

Come out to the music department's first coffee house of the year, this Friday from 7-9:30!  This event features student musical performances, poetry reading, and visual art. General admission is $5 and snacks will be available to purchase.

There will be NHS tutoring on Wednesday in the library right after school until 3:30.
