Daily Announcements - Thursday October 2 - Day C

A representative from The College of St. Rose will be in the the counseling office today at 1:15.

The O Ambassadors Club will meet today at 2:20 in room 113.  If you are looking for a way to make a difference in the world, come check out the OA's. We are an awesome global human rights club!  

The weight room will be open on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.

The Ecology Club will meet today in room 209 at 2:30. We will elect officers and discuss plans for the year. See Mr. James or Mr. Elko for details.

Any Junior who is interested in ordering a class t-shirt needs to see Mrs. Sieczkowski in the gym. Payment is due by Friday.

Completed superlative forms are due in the Delaney house by this Friday. Photo order forms are available in gym locker rooms.

The first meeting of the African American Awareness Club will be today in room 214.  All are welcome!

Attention Varsity Athletes! Varsity jackets will be on sale for one day only on Wednesday, Oct. 8th.  If you’re a varsity athlete & would like to purchase a jacket, you will need to see the vendor during your lunch on the 8th to be sized. Be prepared to make a $200 deposit. See Mr. Peto with any questions.

Project Green is more than just an environmental club--we're an environmental ACTION club!  Our first meeting is tomorrow in room 124.

The next Red Cross Club meeting will be next Wednesday October 8th from 2:30 to 4:00 in the cafeteria. Bring your dues of 5 canned goods and 1 soldier item to the meeting. Don't forget your bus passes and student ID!

Attention all sophomores! There will be a meeting after school today for all those interested in helping your class win the Lip Sync contest during the pep rally.  All those interested please meet in room 401 at 2:30. Any questions see your class officers or Mr. Kalick.

There will be a meeting for all SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS ON TUESDAY OCTOBER 7th in room 138.  If You cannot attend, please see Mrs. Bland for important information.

All HHS German students participating in today's Oktoberfest should please report to their 8th period class with their pass and come to the Café at 12:30 for the festivities!  Any questions or concerns see Frau Peterson or Frau Templeton!

SAVE THE DATE! Winter Sport Physicals will be held on the 17th of October.   Further announcements will be made when the sport packets are available for pick up.

If you have paid for a whiteout sweatshirt, pick it up today during lunch or directly after school in room 108.  If you are interested in purchasing a whiteout sweatshirt, go to room 108 during lunch or after school today.  The cost is $25.

Attention all Seniors!  The Senior wear deadline has been extended until next Friday, October 10th.  Please hand in your Senior wear to Mrs. Horta in room 108 or Mrs. Montgomery in room 114 by next Friday.

PSAT Information
Historically, Hightstown High School has offered the PSAT test on a specific Saturday during the month of October. The College Board also offers school districts the ability to administer the PSAT on a specific school day during the week. This year, the College Board has designated Wednesday, October 15, 2014 as the weekday for PSAT Administration.
