Congratulations to the Hightstown High School Wind Ensemble for receiving a gold rating at the C J M E A Band Festival at Summit High School and winning the outstanding percussion award.

Congratulations to the Red Cross Club for receiving a proclamation from the Mayor of Hightstown for their 25 years of community service.  Great job!

 Attention 2017 Graduating Seniors:  If you have not completed a Diploma Verification Sheet for your 2017 Diploma, please see Mrs. Palmisano in the Principal’s Office.  

Posters and decorations may not be taped onto any painted surface, including lockers, walls, doors and the support pillars. Please tape school posters only to the windows in the cafeterias, the new commons, the ramp hallway to the annex, or the glass hallways surrounding the senior court yard. Posters may also be taped to the unpainted walls in the commons. Posters taped to any painted surface will be immediately removed. 

The Biology club is holding their annual dissection lab.  This  experience is open to anyone interested in learning more about anatomy.  The lab will be after school on Monday.  There is a $7 fee to cover materials and you must pay this to Mrs. Contreras in room 123 in advance.

 Have you ever wanted to design a sneaker? 5 designs will be selected from HHS for the Vans Custom Culture Sneaker Design contest.  Please see any art teacher for sneaker templates and additional info.  Submit your design to Mrs. Lisk in 701 by March 24th.

On Friday, stop by the library to check out our Makers Day event!  There will be 3D printing, origami, music mixing and much more.  

Boys and Girls Swim Team:  Banquet money and Blue RSVP letter is due to Mrs. O'Connor, Mr. Larkin or Mr. Rorer by today. No money or letter and  you will not be permitted to go to the banquet on Tuesday March 28th.

Attention Sophomores. Teen PEP Middle applications are available from Mr. Rorer or Mr. Bauman. Teen PEP Middle is a leadership class for Juniors and is weighted as an Honors Class. Teen PEP Middle will learn about sexual health and decision making along with providing outreaches at the middle school.  Applications are due by March 24th

March of Dimes members will be selling name tags and ribbons in the cafeteria during lunches this week.

The weight room will be open on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.

Attention all HHS Wrestlers and Managers:  Please see Coach Russo ASAP to receive your invitation to the annual Wrestling Banquet which will take place on April 24th.

Any students that have not picked up their SCULPTURE OR CLAY PROJECTS from last semester from room 701 please due so before Friday, March 24. Projects will not be available after that date.

OAmbassadors: The trip to the Holocaust Museum in is Saturday March 25th. ,  Contact Mrs. Alexander if you have any questions.

 Got Legos? Donate any used or unwanted Legos to the Hightstown High School MakerSpace. Drop them off inside the library

Any student interested in Lap Swimming or Water Jogging -- Please get a permission slip outside the pool. Dates are Mondays, March 6, 13, 27 and April 3 from 2:30 to 4:00.  Any question see Mrs. O'Connor.

Attention Seniors:  Please remember to log in to your Naviance account and update your college statuses as necessary.  Please indicate what colleges you’ve been accepted to, as well as what college you have chosen to attend, if you know at this point.

There are many opportunities for tutoring after school in the library. Try NHS TUTORING  every TUESDAY AND THURSDAY, for help with any subject.   MATH NHS  offers tutoring for any math course every WEDNESDAY, SPANISH NHS will offer tutoring in any subject on Thursdays.  Late bus passes will be provided.

The Athletic Department has launched a new app that will provide fans with points for attending home athletic events.  Go to your app store and search for Ram Stampede (two words) or ramrewards  (one word).   The winner at the end of each season will receive a prize.

HHS Marching Band Win New Jersey State Championships!
The Hightstown High School Marching Band placed 1st out of 23 bands at New Jersey State Championships last night. In addition to the win, the Marching Rams won Best Overall Effect. The band will continue their season at Robbinsville High School this Saturday and complete their season at National Championships on November 5.
