Daily Announcements - Thursday October 30 - Day B

Anyone who is interested in joining the Swim Team should see Mrs. O'Connor in the girl's locker room to sign up and get your contract and schedule. The first practice is Monday November 17 in the pool at 2:15. Bring your bathing suit, towel and goggles.  Your physical packet must be in by Friday in order to go out for the team.

Anyone who is interested in lap swimming or water jogging after school on Mondays should see Mrs. O'Connor for a permission slip.  There are only 2 more Mondays left for this after school swim program: November 3rd and November 10th.

Attention seniors! The Claire's gourmet fundraiser has been extended to today! Please have all orders submitted to Mrs. Horta in room 108.

The weight room will be open today.

The Red Cross Club & Student Council will be collecting can tabs to earn Class Cup Points.  The tabs will be donated to Stella Knicos towards her stay at Ronald McDonald House during her treatment for Pompe which is a progressive disease.  Starting tomorrow, deposit your tabs in the container for your class located in the cafeteria.  Fill up your container and get 250 points towards your class cup!

There will be an important O Ambassadors meeting today at 2:20 in room 113.  Topics to be discussed include the upcoming trip to Washington DC and the Service Trip update. Due at this meeting are t-shirt orders and your DC permission form & trip money.

A representative from the University of Connecticut will be in Guidance today at 1:15.

If you are interested in lifeguarding after school for community service hours, see Mrs. O 'Connor.

Any Red Cross Club member who has not brought in their cans and soldier item needs to do so by the November 12th meeting in order to participate in the Holiday Party on December 3rd.

The Future Business Leaders of America Club will be holding a meeting after school today in room 306 at 2:30.

Attention Juniors! Please stop by room 102 or the main gym to pick up your cookie dough order form.

If you haven’t already attended the 7:00 DECA meeting, it is mandatory that you attend the meeting after school at 2:20 in room 310! Membership money is due.

 All JV Girls soccer uniforms are due to Mr. Hess now!

There will be a mandatory meeting for all students interested in wrestling this upcoming season.  The meeting will take place in the Annex gym after school on Friday.  Wrestlers should bring workout clothes.  See Coach Russo with any questions.

All FRC robotics team members make sure you stop by Mr. Gregory's room to pick up permission slips for the upcoming competition, Brunswick Eruption, if you plan on going on November 8th.

Congratulations to the Girls Soccer team for beating Hopewell Valley last night 4-1 and advancing to the Mercer County Final against The Pennington School. The defense and goal tending were superb!
